About Perspective Stories
A closer look often reveals the bridges we already share
Perspective Stories is a space for thoughtful reflection on the many things that shape how we all co-exist and live together.
It is written from the belief that many of the hardest conversations we are having right now feel less about being right or wrong, and more about feeling unheard, disconnected, or overwhelmed by the world around us.
I created this site to share my own personal perspectives on human compassion, environmental responsibility, fairness, dignity and connection, with the intention of softening the space between differing opinions rather than widening it.
It is absolutely not about winning arguments or simplifying complex issues.
It is about slowing things down enough for us all to notice the impact our choices can have on each other and on the world that sustains us. Because in the busy of all of our lives, we can sometimes forget that our choices affect others – whose lives and struggles we may know nothing about, other than what we think we know from the information we are presented with – in the media, in listening to other people’s perspectives, or maybe through books we read, but not from our own experience or research.
Taking care of yourself matters. Taking care of others matters too. And caring for the environment is essential to caring for human life.
These stories are for people who are open, curious, and willing to sit with complexity, even when it feels uncomfortable.
Welcome - I hope you'll be curious enough to come back - meet me on the bridge 😊
